澳大利亚全国道路工程教育委员会理事。

北京市特聘教授。

主要研究砌体结构及其他非连续结构非线性分析，采用FRP加固古建结构，结构有限元及离散元模拟，可渗透混凝土路面，可循环纤维材料加强混凝土。
